The UDSM is Tanzania‘s premier university offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Business, Education, Engineering and Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences, Natural and Applied Sciences, Law with an enrolment of approximately 15,000 undergraduate students and about 2,500 postgraduate students.
UDSM has set itself a vision to become not only a centre of academic excellence in Africa but also a world class research university with a mission to advance knowledge and understanding through excellence in teaching, research and dissemination of research findings.
